We are pleased to introduce our
January 2009 Dog Photo Contest Guest Judge!
Dana Bates of Chris' Rescue Angels has graciously accepted our invitation to serve as Guest Judge for January. Dana lives in Texas with her husband and has actively served as a Foster for several years with various rescue groups. She presently fosters for Chris' Rescue Angels and writes their newsletter. Her permanent fur family includes a fox terrier and yorkies, one of which who is near and dear to our hearts, Miss McKenna. Miss McKenna is a handicapped dog, but don't tell her that! She has a cart, which she does not use, but rather gets herself around on her own, her way! She continues to amaze us with her spirit and personality and I am honored to be considered McKenna's "Aunt Carol".

Shia is a 2 year old hairy hairless Chinese Crested who lives in Lima, Peru with her human Mom, Sara Geller. Her parents, Alaia and Tao and siblings Kya, Crepe and Cirilo all live in Mexico. Shia is a very happy puppy who is the only Chinese Crested in the area of Peru where she resides and she is very people friendly, educating people about the breed in Peru and greeting everyone she meets with puppy kisses.
She loves her clothes and enjoys being the best dressed dog in the neighborhood.
