Shipping & Return Policies

We are an online boutique only and do not have a retail location. We do not carry a large inventory in order to keep our overhead low allowing us to keep our prices very reasonable. Typical order processing time is three-five business days (if we have the products in stock or the ability to ship directly from our designer to you) However, many of our items are custom made and we have to abide by our designers or vendors guidelines. We will always do our vest best to get the order to you and your furry friend as promptly as possible. In some cases, your order may arrive in two shipments if some products are drop shipped from our vendors. Normal order processing time is 7-10 business days.

Our guarantee is the guarantee offered by the USPS and Bloomingtails Dog Boutique has no responsibility other than getting the package to the USPS and entered into their system.

Once your package reaches its destination, Bloomingtails Dog Boutique has no additional responsibility. The package cannot be tracked or located from our end and must be initiated from the final destination not the originating destination.

In most cases, if you have provided us with an email address, you will receive shipping and tracking information via the USPS once your shipment enters their system via an email notification. You can check the status of your order.

If you have questions about shipping charges, contact us prior to placing your order.

Delivery time depends on your shipping zone. We do make a conscious effort to recycle and will reuse shipping packages that are in good shape.

Return Policy

Your satisfaction as a customer is vitally important to us here at the Bloomingtails Dog Boutique. However, we do realize that issues arise. Our Return Policy is clearly listed here for your convenience in the unlikely event that you have an issue that may require additional customer service.

Please be advised that not all designers use the same sizing measurements. Be sure to check each designers sizing chart. Proper measurement is the surest way to avoid returns due to sizing issues. To guide you in measuring your dog and choosing the right items, we provide sizing charts for our designer brands and our custom dog clothes.

Because we realize that measuring a dog is not always easy, we make ourselves available through our Contact Information via email or you may call us at 1-888-798-7105 to answer any questions or assist you in the process. We are dedicated to helping you find the right size for your pet.

All sales are final. Returns are accepted at the discretion of Bloomingtails Dog Boutique. We do not issue refunds for any purchases but do offer store credit for future purchases. Every effort is made to accommodate returns for sizing issues but is solely at the our discretion and our normal policy is store credit ONLY. We issue store credit with NO EXPIRATION. So you may enjoy looking for something that works for you and your furry friend for as long as it takes!!
Bloomingtails will no longer accept returns due to sizing issues if the difference in the size exchange differs by more than one size range in either direction.

To clarify, if you ordered a Small and you are requesting an exchange for a product smaller than an XSmall or larger than a Medium, we will not be able to honor the request.

Returns are accepted if there is a defect in the product in all circumstances. You must email us within 7 days of receipt of your order. We will do everything in our power to rectify the situation.

All returned clothing merchandise must be in its original packaging, complete with sizing tags, packaging materials, unworn and in pristine condition. No items will be accepted for returns/exchanges that have dog hair on them. If you were unsure of sizing, we suggest you measure your dog and then measure the piece of clothing you ordered prior to trying it on your dog. Once it has been tried on, it is no longer returnable. This policy is to ensure that every customer of Bloomingtails receives items in new, excellent condition.

Any clearance, sale, personalized, custom order, costumes or perishable orders will not be accepted for return.

Designer Swarovski Crystal Collars are not eligible for exchange as they are made to the order spefications in the size ordered. Any of our made to order collars are also not eligible for exchange. Any custom work is also not returnable. These items are made to your order for your pet.

Due to strict health regulations, no returns can be accepted on carriers, blankets or beds. We also do not accept returns on panties, diapers, belly bands, medicines, treats and/or perishables, hair accessories and bowls/feeders. 

Remember: NO dog toy is indestructible, please be aware that toys are not returnable items. We do recommend shipping your item back to us in the event we are accepting your return with a carrier that provides tracking as we are not responsible for lost/stolen packages. 

For Custom Dog Clothing Only

The key to the fit is in the measuring. For our custom made clothing, the clothing item is made to your measurements. If you have any questions about measuring, contact us before you send us your sizing information. Just like people, dogs come in different shapes and sizes. Once you receive your custom order, contact us immediately with any problems. If you have a problem with the fit, we make every effort to work with you on resolving the problem. If the sizing mistake was in the customers error in measuring, we cannot guarantee replacement.

Guidelines for Requesting Exchange or Credit

Please  email us within 7 days of receipt of your item. Please note in the email the order # as well as explanation of the issue. We will then give proper instruction on how to proceed.

If we agree to issue an exchange or merchandise credit, we will provide you with an address to where you can return ship your purchase at your expense. Any item returned to us must be in its original, unused condition. This includes all original documents, boxes, and packaging, with the tags attached to the merchandise. Please not that the customer is responsible for all shipping fees, and that a fee will be assessed to re-ship a new item if need be.

Upon receipt, we will inspect your item to confirm that it is unused and in original packaging. (We reserve the right to refuse items that have been used or are missing tags, boxes, etc.) If we do need to send the items back, the customer will be billed for shipping expenses.

Please allow additional time for exchanges. Some items are shipped from the designer or special ordered at the time of purchase. In that case, we do not re-order until we have the returned/exchanged mercandise and verify that it meets our criteria.

  • If you receive an item that is damaged, please contact us within 48 hours. Include your order number, date of purchase, and item number. Please also describe the defective merchandise. 
  • If you do not receive your merchandise within 30 days of your original order, please contact us immediately.
  • You are responsible to provide us with the correct mailing address. If your purchase has to be reshipped due to insufficient address, you will be billed all shipping costs.
  • We will accept a return or exchange on clothing items once per item. If you need to return an item more than once, a 50% restocking fee will apply.
