At Dog in the Closet, we believe that a dog’s wardrobe should meet the same standards of quality as that of their owners. We use only the finest materials and most of our designs require extensive hand beading, appliques, embroidery, and other details. Our clothes are not mass produced and most of our designs are produced in limited quantities.
All items are designed in the USA. When possible items are also manufactured in the USA. Due to the amount of hand sewing required on many of our products, we also use factories in other countries to assemble many of our products.
Our mix and match approach allows customers to coordinate and layer our vests, denim skirts and coats with our dresses and tees. Accessories such as leashes, belts, and hair bows are available to coordinate with all of our designs.

Skirts Please use the waist measurement when ordering our skirts. The skirts need to fit tight so do not go up a size when ordering our skirts. Skirts all have Velcro closures and will adjust larger than the size on the chart but will not adjust smaller. For example, if your dog measures 14” in the waist (Size S) but you think she will need it to fit at 13.5” to keep it from slipping, please order the Size XS.
