The Coronavirus (COVID-19) has been the topic of conversation recently and we want to help to keep our customers and friends in the know. We at Bloomingtails Dog Boutique realize how important safety precautions are and are taking every measure to ensure we are doing all that we can.
We do know that according to the AKC, the Coronavirus has not been a threat thus far to our furry friends. Certainly domestic animals are able to contract some types of the Coronavirus but this specific COVID-19 is believed not to be a threat. This is what the World Health Organization has released regarding the virus. The World Health Organization reported that there have been no reported cases of coronavirus in domestic animals. “At present, there is no evidence that companion animals/pets such as dogs or cats can be infected with the novel coronavirus COVID-19,” That is not to say what may happen moving forward.
Doing our part, we will continue to clean and sanitize our products and work space. All orders coming in, whether it be a shipment from the United States or Overseas, are thoroughly wiped down and sanitized. They are also re packaged before shipping to you and your furry friend. Keeping anyone sick or not feeling well home is also a priority. We are trying to be as responsible as possible.
Hand washing, maintaining safe social distancing, avoiding touching our faces, and staying informed are the best things we can do today.
As you may know, this virus is also affecting all shipments. FedEX, USPS and UPS are feeling the heavy burden of delayed shipments, less people working and stringent cleaning and sanitizing. We apologize in advance for delays. We are trying to keep our customers informed of tracking updates and the possibility of orders taking a bit longer than usual. For this we apologize.
